Got 2 money line plays going on today.
1) Cavs, Hornets and Jazz money line Parlay. Risking 2 units to win 2.06 units.
I'm always looking for games where I'm 99% sure who's going to win outright. The Cavs outmatch Chicago, the Hornets at home are almost always money, and the Jazz might even be getting Deron Williams back tonight. Even if DWill doesn't come back, the Jazz are the best home team pretty much in the NBA, or at least the most feared home team. I feel good here, just like my 3 team ML parlay I won last week.
2) Pistons ML - 1 unit to win 1.25
People are sleeping on Detroit because Iverson is playing his first game and chemistry might be an issue. But as recent history indicates, the Pistons own the Raptors. And if anything, Iverson will be able to go buck wild on the Raptors' poor perimeter defence as he tries to kick off his tenure as a Piston with a bang.
On top of that, the Raptors are getting a lot of love from the public for starting 3-0, but they've only beaten Philly, Golden State and Milwaukee. They have yet to prove they can run with the big boys, and I don't think they will prove it tonight.
I'm looking at the matchups....Iverson vs. Calderon.....Hamilton vs. Parker.....Prince vs. Moon....Wallace vs. Bosh.....Johnson vs. O'Neal....Pistons have a better perimeter for sure, and even though J.O. and CB4 are better than 'Sheed and Johnson, the Pistons can throw Maxiell and Brown into the mix to get physical and make things happen. The Raptors struggle against teams that have big and aggressive front courts. Against Philly the Raptors got outrebounded terribly and managed to win....it won't be so easy to do that against Detroit.
One other thing to note....Toronto is dangerous at home because they ride the crowd at certain points and start knocking down 3s. That'll be hard to do against a tough perimeter defence such as Detroit's.
