Sports options drops the ball big time on the Rx free odds feed , if we do this contest again I would hope we use a more dependable odds source.

Ok thanks for explaining, that line looks way off. You should be getting Nationals -1.5 +140 at least.

I'd let Ty use the -1' +140 line. I've had that same problem with that "free Odds" thingy. If you click on the M/L, then on the "Gm#" you can get the right odds for the time you post but it's very cumbersome and confusing. At 11:39 when Ty posted the line was -1' +140.
I agree that we could have a simpler line system. The thing about that "free Odds" thing is that you can check to see that the appropriate line was posted. Not sure where else we can do that.

I just don't want to move to a static line system. Then someone has to post the line (and inevitably someone will want to post their plays before lines are posted). Also it becomes a game of betting stale lines, which is a whole different strategy. Plus then you have issues about deadlines and such. Ugh.
Another forum I visit has a similar contest where each contestant gets a fake pph login just for the contest, and puts in their own wagers. Maybe we could talk to a sponsor pph and see if they have interest in sponsoring something like that for us, but I'd assume we need to get a little more interest than we currently have to make that happen.
Yes we definitely need more interest for pph or sponsorship options. Maybe we could just piggyback on the lines used by JOH for the weekly contest? I'm sure he wouldnt mind & its always posted early enough. Just a thought.
