Memphis has only lost once to the number when laying points as the favorite. Versus the Lakers, Memphis layed 9' and only won by 6. Otherwise the number has not had an effect on any other Memphis bet. Either they win and cover or lose straight up as the favorite.

Memphis is hot right now and we all know about Portland's road ineptitude.

looks like a gutsy call to go against a portland team that has won 2 straight on the road...even if it is against a solid Memphis team at home. Anyway, since you've been so hot, I'll be on Memphis tonight...GOOD LUCK TO ALL!!

Grindit, Capping these games is all about perceptions. You see Portland covering two in a row. I don't see them covering 3 as they return to their road losing ways. Helping is that this is their 4th road game in last 5. These malcontents should be getting on each others nerves by now. If Memphis shows up at home tonight determined to extend their franchise best winning streak, we'll be alright.

Another way to look at it is We're taking the better team at home that's it.

Forgot about Bonzi Wells wanting to light up these guys tonight.

we got the better team (25-18 vs 18-24)---- we got the hotter team (9-1 vs 3-7 over the last 10)-- and we have the home team. and we are laying a single digit number, less than 8.. all criteria that i use..

Post Game Analysis: Effing Memphis... just kidding. Memphis just didn't have it tonight. Miller was 1-7 and the team shot 32% overall, probably their season low. Picked a bad time to go with them. Back at em tomorrow

I took the Grizz in the 2nd half. They just couldn't get it going. Gasol was horrible tonight. They had two big men on him at times down low and he tried to take it to them and it backfired almost every time. Was 3 for 14 for shooting when I turned it off. They were something like 2 for 12 at the time on 3's as well. They just stunk it up tonight. Nothing we can do about that. See you tomorrow, or Friday since tomorrow is a such a small card.
