How does that saying go? "That was then, this is now." Is what I think off in the NY/MEMPHIS matchup. I think the man has over compensated for the everyday mans view of this game. 'The worst defense in the league (last year is what everydayman remembers) vs a defenseless, but high powered Knick team (everydayman sees that this year) throw in last years meeting of 130-114 and you got a high scoring game.
Young Memphis playing defense at home this year and have slowed down their offensive pace under the new coaching regime. Only their 3rd game at home tonight, but you can bet the youngsters take pride in the way they have been defending at home in the last 2 games. Defenseless NY comes in on a backtoback showing an improving defense and declining offense last 5 games.
