r2: garden in the rain. don't know if we'll get above even money, but anything north of 1/1 is a steal on this total standout. win bet only- if she runs today, she wins, if she doesn't don't waste your money betting in the minor slots.

r7: ask not. win machine has little to beat in here as chapeau is the only one who scares.

going to play the finale at oak tree- #7 bit of mortlock. i think he's an overlay in this field at 17/1.

pval onboard and mitchel the juicer got me on the conselation. Damn, DAmn DAMn DAMN. No way that horse runs like that, yet the racing form said they would try to steal it; and of course the odds showed it. Got's to learn those combinations that make no sense, yet will probably win. Wonder exactly how they're juicing the horse and getting away w/it???

no set days- i play primarily the southern california tracks. i try to post almost every racing day, but recently the cards have been very unappetizing at santa anita. this is the pre-breeders' cup malaise.
