Last night was stupid. Only things I did right was wager on Syracuse and play a teaser on Miss St and over. The rest just makes me mad.

Therefore I select,

Today's quote:

Replace the worry-habit with the consciousness of abundance. Be conscious of always having everything that could possibly be needed. Do not even consider thoughts of lack, loss, or limitation. Every time a worry-thought comes up, immediately replace it with the feeling of abundance.

We cannot convince the mind and ego that there is nothing to worry about. However, we can replace their efforts to worry with our consciousness of abundance and plenty. When we maintain the consciousness of prosperity, we can never ”run out” of anything that we need. To “run out” of something would be to be without it, and to be without something is impossible as long as there is the consciousness of having it.

Maintain the consciousness of already having everything we truly need, of already being comfortably cared for in this world. Replace the tendency to worry with the consciousness of present perfection. Worry is only the absence of the consciousness of abundance, just as darkness is only the absence of light.

As part-time or full-time gamblers, words such as those are often responded to with guffaws or "Whatever"s. For myself and certainly some others, the reminder of abundance - however temporarily obscured - is a valuable one. I feel as if the common underlying mentality, particularly in this country, is one of a Universe of Short Supply...thus a "screw them (bomb them) before they screw you" mentality and an increasingly short-term focus (not to be confused with being "in the now." Everything WILL work itself out, from one perspective. Everything is already fine, when seen from a higher consciousness.

LSUpete! I haven't heard a peep out of you since the Tigers won their share of the national CFB title!

How strong are you on LSU tonight? Is this just a hunch for the home team, or is it time to lay out some $$$$$?

I respected your football plays and made some $$ with them this fall, could always use help in hoops, too.

Sorry guys, I didn't check this thread prior to the game.

Here's the scoop on LSU...

Their senior starter Jaime Lloreda has left the team because he has some bone spurs in his heel and doesn't want to jepordize his pro career....ASSHOLE and good fvcking riddance. Of course he got into ANOTHER (his third) fist fight with one of his teammates this past Saturday and subsequently, all of them are ready to see his ass go back to Miami.

As for a gambling edge, I believe that this young team of scrappers will win against average competition, but when they play a good team, they'll lose big. Watch for it in the SEC tourney.

6-3 (+15.6*)

Lost the 10*, but had a winning night anyway.

2-0 on NBA plays helps as well.

Hope everyone did well.

Reb,
Can't believe we lost the UAB game as they had 25 more shots than USF.I went back and forth all day with Kojak discussing this game and was hoping you might share what made them a 10* for you.

Good luck on Thursday.

Low Tide, UAB is a much better team than South Florida. There's no way they should have lost that game. They covered the first half easily, and I actually cut my losses by playing the first half also. Still, they should have hung on and covered the spot easily. Many good cappers were on this game. This was just a fluke. Nine times out of ten they would cover.
