MC...congratulations on your great run of late. Quick question...why Oakland? I know they have dominated Texas this year (14-4) but what makes you think they will come to play today especially after clinching so late last night? Trust me, i am not doubting you just curious what your thinking is. Thanks and good luck!

I played Oakland today for a few reasons:
1. Oakland is still playing for Home Field in the 1st round. They are just 2 behind Boston with 4 to play! Thats important for them!
2. Hudson - He has pitched poorly of late after his 7 game winning streak. But this is his last start before the playoffs and I am sure he will try to get back into first gear! Despite his last few bad starts he still has a 2.74 era on the season. He is the better pitcher here. He will come to play today.
3. Texas has not come to play all year.

I hope that helps a bit.

UT-LONGHORN - Hey buddy. Whats up? Yes, it is still a 3 unit play. I like Hudson alot today. Plus I already made the play. A's can technically still catch the Yankees. Their chances are slim to none, but not impossible.
