MLB | Orioles vs Mariners
Play on: Mariners -1½ -114 at Pinnacle

1 Unit Bonus Play on Seattle Mariners -1.5 (-114)
The Seattle Mariners are in must-win mode right now. They cannot afford to be losing to the lowly Baltimore Orioles at this point in the season, which is what happened yesterday. They have some ground to make up on the A’s in the wild card. I like their chance of winning by at least two runs today over the Orioles. Mike Leake is 8-9 with a 4.25 ERA in 27 starts this season and is the better starter in this matchup. Andrew Cashner is 4-13 with a 4.86 ERA in 26 starts, including 2-7 with a 5.27 ERA in 13 road starts for the Orioles. Leake held the Orioles to 2 runs in 7 innings of a 4-2 victory in his only start against them this season. Cashner is 1-1 with a 6.06 ERA in his last three starts against the Mariners with 11 earned runs in 16 1/3 innings. The Orioles are 24-64 in their last 88 games overall, including 13-47 in their last 60 games vs. a right-handed starter. The Mariners are 5-0 in Leake’s last five starts vs. a team with a losing record. Seattle is 7-1 in Leake’s last eight starts following a loss in their previous game. Give me the Mariners on the Run Line.

MLB | Rays vs Blue Jays
Play on: Rays -128 at 5dimes
10* FREE MLB PICK (Rays -128)

I'll take my chances here with Tampa Bay as a slim road favorite against the Blue Jays. The Rays are one of the hottest teams in the league right now. Tampa Bay has won 4 straight and 13 o f their last 15 overall. They have outscored Toronto 11-1 over the first two games of the series and all signs point to another lopsided win for the Rays. Tampa Bay will send out Tyler Glasnow, who is coming off a brilliant start at Cleveland, where he held the Indians to just 1 run on 2 hits in 7 innings. Glasnow now owns a strong 3.23 ERA in 6 starts and a 2.89 ERA over 3 road outings. Toronto will counter with Aaron Sanchez, who will be making his 3rd start after returning from the DL. The first two starts back were nothing to get excited about, as Sanchez has allowed 11 runs on 18 hits and 5 walks with just 4 strikeouts in 8 1/3 innings of work. Give me the Rays -128!

Fp: both teams feature excellent starting pitchers in this game and even with the prolific offense on both sides good pitching beats good hitting and 10 runs to beat us will be a chore making the under my mlb free pick !

My comp play release for Wednesday is the L.A. Dodgers on the Run Line to close out their series against the Mets with the 2 runs or better win.
Los Angeles broke free last night in their 11-4 runaway over New York, and I think they do it again tonight.
No doubt Zack Wheeler and his under one ERA over his last three starts will be a challenge for Los Angeles, but after last night's victory, the Dodgers have a 9-1 mark against the Mets the last 10 times the teams have faced one another, and 8 of those 9 wins have come by 2 runs or better.
Wheeler is 0-2 for his tenure against Los Angeles, and his ERA is 11.00 in his pair of starts versus the Dodgers.
On the other hand, L.A. starter Hyun-Jin Ryu is 3-0 in his 5 career starts versus the Mets with a 1.69 ERA.
Look for the Dodgers to find a way to break through against Wheeler and win another game over the Mets by at least 2 runs.

I am taking the New York Mets over the Los Angeles Dodgers, as I'll take a chance on the huge road pup. And be sure you're listing both Zack Wheeler and Hyun-Jin Ryu in these games.
I'll be short and sweet with this near $2 dollar underdog...
Wheeler has gone seven innings in each of his last three starts, allowing a total of two runs. He has struck out 23 and walked four during that stretch. Even further, since June 27, the right-hander is 7-1 with a 1.83 ERA.
Meanwhile, Ryu was clutch in his most recent start against the Arizona Diamondbacks, yes, as he produced seven innings and didn’t allow any runs after a first-inning, two-run homer down the right-field line by Paul Goldschmidt. But he is 1-1 with a 3.24 ERA in his last three starts and I'm not sure he is as consistent as Wheeler.
I'm playing pure value tonight, as the Mets are the right side at this price, with these pitchers.

My Bonus Play is on the Milwaukee Brewers, over the Chicago Cubs. It's a National League Central rivalry, and the Brewers are playing well. Milwaukee, which has won three straight, will sweep the series over Chicago with a victory.
The Cubs enter the matchup with a three-game lead over the Brewers in the Central so there is plenty of motivation for this game.
And make note, even though I don't care to list pitchers tonight, the Brewers are 20-9 in Jhoulys Chacin's starts this season.
Milwaukee has won seven of 10 and is sporting a .273 batting average in that span, while it has outscored opponents by 13 runs.
Take the home team in this one.

Look for the Colorado Rockies to crush the San Francisco Giants in National League West action tonight, as I take the Mile High boys for a second straight night.
Though pitchers are automatically listed when making Run Line wagers, I am insisting you DO NOT worry about who the scheduled starters are. In the event of a scratch, you MUST re-wager the game with the new pitcher(s) who are scheduled. This play will stand no matter who pitches for either team.
Colorado comes into this one having won four straight and over its last 10 games it is hitting .241 and has outscored foes by 10 runs in its last 11. And, led by Trevor Story, the offense will keep things rolling tonight.
Story has been as good as it gets for Colorado as of late, as he leads the Rockies with 155 hits this year. His .295 batting average is 12th in the National League. DJ LeMahieu has 10 hits and is batting .233 over his past 10 games for Colorado.
The Rockies, who have slugged .428 this season, head into this contest with a half-game lead over the Los Angeles Dodgers in the National League West. And with Nolan Arenado leading the team with a mark of .554, this one could get out of hand early against a Giants team that has struggled offensively.
San Francisco, which has lost four in a row and split its last 10, has a paltry .199 batting average in those games, which it has been outscored by three runs.
Take the Rockies here.

Wednesday comp play on the Under in the Twins-Astros game.
Last night was a 5-2 final, as the teams held Under the total as the teams held Under for the 6th time in the past 7 meetings this year.
Minnesota is now on a 7-3-1 Under run their last 11 games overall, and they will send Jake Odorizzi to the hill for this series ender. Odorizzi has seen each of his last 3 starts hold Under the total, and the Under for the season is 17-10-1 when he makes the start.
Houston has now played Under the total in each of their last 3, and 6 of their last 8 overall. The Astros will go with Framber Valdez who makes just his third start of the season. His first two have both landed Under the total.
Look for this Twins-Astros game to land Under the total.
4* MINNESOTA-HOUSTON UNDER
