Bonus Play

San Francisco Giants vs. Philadelphia Phillies

Philadelphia Phillies -208

Ai Simulator 3* graded play on Philadelphia as the host the Giants set to start at 7:05 EST. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 82-34 making 39.8 units since 2003. Play against any team with a cold starting pitcher sporting an ERA >= 6.50 over his last 10 starts and with an on base percentage of .310 or worse over their last 20 games. Philadelphia in several strong roles noting they are 59-31 (+27.6 Units) against the money line versus NL teams allowing 4.3 or less runs/game on the season over the last 2 seasons; 30-15 (+10.9 Units) against the money line versus poor base running teams averaging 0.5 or less SB's/game this season; 12-2 (+9.6 Units) against the money line after scoring 4 runs or less 3 straight games this season. Yes, the Philly offense will come to life tonight against cast away Brad Penny. He sports an 8.62 ERA and a 1.914 WHIP over his last starts. JA Happ is certainly a strong contender for the NL rookie of the year award. Happ sports a 2.63 season ERA and 1.169 season WHIP and also sports a 1.99 ERA and 1.235 WHIP over his last 3 seasons. Skipper Manuel is a strong 71-29 (+30.2 Units) against the money line in home games after allowing 2 runs or less during his Phillies tenure. Take the Phillies.

Wedneday Mlb comp GC-

On Wendesday the Bonus Play is on the Detroit Tigers.Game 924 at 7:05 eastern. The Tigers have bright young rookie C.Porcello on the mound tonight.Detroit has won 9 of his 12 starts and he has proven that he can pitch through adversity this year. The Indians send inconsistent lefty Laffey to the mound tonight and he has a high road era.Earlier in the year his struggles were bad enough that Cleveland had to demote him to the minors.Lafffey has pitched better since being recalled. However he struggles on the road. The Tigers hit left handers real well at home.Tonight the Tigers fall into a nice system that pertains to last nights win.On Wednesday I have a nice late phone card that has two night games backed by solid angles and analysis.Jump on and cash out as the bases is heating up.For the Bonus Play take the Tigers tonight bol GC

OC Dooley:

Tonight's pick we can all watch on ESPN:

“1 UNIT” NATIONAL-TV TOTAL (Red Sox at Rays UNDER 8’ in a 7:08 eastern start broadcast on ESPN-----------Beckett versus Garza): Much to my personal dismay, these two teams failed to stay below the total last night in what turned out to be an 8-4 slugfest. During last year’s magical run to the World Series, Tampa Bay thrived on “pitching and defense” but shoddy play in the field led to 3 different “unearned” runs by the Red Sox on Tuesday. With the Rays now down by 6 games in the American League Wildcard chase, they will have to play much better defense this evening against the squad directly ahead of them in the American League East standings. It was earlier this season at Tampa Tropicana Field that Matt Garza through a ONE HIT gem against the mighty Red Sox and his ERA in the past four attempts against Boston (1.88) is extremely low. For those of you familiar with Garza has is driven by “emotion” and will definitely be psyched to perform tonight in front of the ESPN cameras. Tampa’s offense just set a club record with 43 homeruns hit during the month of August, but as mentioned earlier this team in general wins with “pitching and defense”. I will admit that Boston has averaged around 7 runs per game in the past couple of weeks and that Josh Beckett’s ERA the past three starts (9.82) has been a disaster. The bottom line is that Beckett who has given up 10 homers in those three assignments has a lot to prove both to the Red Sox and the entire country tonight. Beckett also needs to prove that he can handle Tampa Bay who earlier this year at Tropicana Field lit him up to the tune of 7 runs. Getting back to tonight’s Tampa Bay starting pitcher, Matt Garza just happens to be an eye opening 14-5 UNDER the total this season when cast as a favorite!
