The line on Atl is still falling (now -212). My partner bet CC at -168 and Mil at -145. Good luck!

I need to find more time during work to wait out these lines and pay more attention. Thanks again for the input.

I risk 1 unit. Perhaps you figured using the closing numbers. Here is what I have.

Atl -218 over Wash: +0.46
Cubs -176 over Col: +0.57
Mil -148 over Hou: +0.68
CWS -116 over TB: +0.86
Phi -124 over Cin: -1.00
+1.57

old school, I'm just dying to know. Does your partner have a YTD record? If not, I respect that. But I also would like to ask, how long has he been doing this and how successful has it been?

Thanks in advance.

I see; all bets are for the same amount. My partner's ROR is anywhere from 2-5 %, depending on the year. No profit in basketball this year; had a great football year, and, so far, a 4% ROR in baseball. And that takes 10+ hours a day. It used to be possible to hit 60% (40 to 20 years ago). Today, the line is tighter, and there are many more sharp handicappers. We have been betting for 43+ years. Our main tools are fading steam, fading our square friends, and following a very few handicappers. We followed Gary London (National Sports Wire) decades ago with excellent results. Dr Bob seems to be (or was before getting married) this decade's Gary London. We bet Dave Cokin's Sun nite plays in college football for 7 years (3 plays a week, hitting about 59-60 %; one losing year). Good luck in the future!

That's great old school! Thanks for all the good advice.

:toast:

As you saw early on in my posts I was hitting about 0.500. In the last few days I've gone 15-5 just over 9 units. I suppose there will be the negative days as well.

You will get so cold that you will feel that you will NEVER win, and you will get so hot that you will feel that you will NEVER lose. We always bet less (% wise) when cold, and more when hot. It's about the long run. good luck!
