Even though some of my sites are hosted on GoDaddy, I don't care much for them. They are cheap, though. I prefer 1and1.com for most of my hosting, because they make is very easy to host multiple sites on a single account. They're also inexpensive. If you feel like you might need a lot of hand-holding from tech support, 1and1 might not be the best choice.

Really not hard to do. I have built about 7 website in the past 4 years.
There are sites that you can go to that makes it some much easier.
