The Weather Forecast for Minneapolis Sunday at Kick-Off is Sunny with winds out of the West at 5-10 and a wind-chill of (-10) Fahrenheit;
Ouch....That's cold enough to freeze the Balls of a Brass Monkey. Russell Wilson played his College Ball at Wisconsin (Lots of Cold-Weather play at Madison). Teddy Bridgewater grew-up in Miami (Fl)..Lots of warm weather but his Louisville experience gave him some chilly weather experience as well.....With the hand-warmers available no real advantage there but..........Wilson has those big hands, Bridgewater's are smaller by actual measurement....Just maybe, Adrian Peterson could be the difference.

How many true "cold weather" games did Wilson play at UW? 4 November games in 2011, 2 at Madison, 1 in Minny and 1 in Champaign? Usually not brutally cold in this region in November, and certainly not like he's going to play in Sunday. I'd bet he's played more cold weather games since being in the NFL, than he did in college. Obviously, tough to say for sure without a lot of digging.

I don't think anyone is really going to like playing in this nonsense. I do agree though, AP's effectiveness could be the difference.

BOL.........:smoking:

not sure i have ever seen cold weather discussed so much in one game. heated field, heated benches, heat blowing on sidelines, little wind, and sunny skies. unless you're going to the game i see very little impact this weather will have on the game

Bridgewater will lose this gm, if AP doesn't fumble it away 1st!! Vikes future is playing in Frisco TX today. But Spielman is to chickenshit to draft a white QB, in place of the stupid fuc*king black we have now. He does not have NFL talent enuff to take Vikes to a title. And he never will have! But, this tm is lacking in so many areas now it probably makes little difference, untill we get a new GM!! My Grandson is going to the game, I told him that's as dumb as TB, he loves him!! LOL

Hey Buddy how ya doing? Tell all these warm weather pussies, this is nothin!! I remember the "old days" on the Range - 20 was normal every winter. Course my "old days" are a tad older than everyone else here. LOL I fear either TB or AP will fumble this game away. Happy & prosperous NY to U & Yours.

You have that right "Silver" old buddy.....The naysayers who suggest modern technology takes the sting out of cold-weather play today....Not so...All it takes is one critical fumble or a poorly thrown pass to make the difference of a win or a loss......Just watch the look on the players faces or the frost on their beads during the 4th quarter......they'll be hopping from foot to foot to keep the circulation going... I feel the Vikings have a chance.....

Folks are acting like they are being dropped off into the canadian tundra in their underwear for a week? 30 - 40 min on heated turf at a time is not a big deal.
