For those preying for a rainout tonight, being from St. Louis and knowing the field from playing on it a couple of times years ago, this field drains better than any field in baseball and would give a 5% chance of a rainout. Also, I would tell you with weather conditions that the premium tonight will be on Defense which is a major advantage of the Cards. Houston is a below average defensive team and expect a minimum of 2 misplayed balls tonight from Houston. Also, in regards to Morris for those that think he is overpriced, here is an fyi. Morris best games pitched this year have been in evening games at home and especially coming off of outings where he gave up 4 or more runs in previous outing. This has occurred roughly 6-8 times this season and in those following games, Morris has given up 2 runs or less in every single one of them. For those that don't know, Morris gave up four in last outing Saturday. To me the Cardinals on both moneyline and runline is even stronger for tonight. Also, believe me when I say that unless there is a lightning storm that lasts until daybreak this game will be played as St. Louis management knows what a rainout means here. BOL.
