NEW YORK -- The Yankees and Angels dodged the rain Friday, and it looks like they might do it again Saturday, at least for a couple hours. The forecast has improved, showing only a 20 percent chance of showers at 8 p.m. (first pitch is slated for 7:57), according to
Weather.com.
There is, however, a 70 percent chance of showers starting at 10 p.m. and continuing into early Sunday morning. So while a delayed start to Game 2 appears unlikely at the moment, a suspended game is still a definite possibility.
As of 4 p.m., the tarp was not on the field, and the batting cage was out.
We’ll post any weather-related developments here throughout the evening.
