Didn't watch the video, but we are the people that can grow the economy, or shrink it.
We need an uptick in consumer confidence, and I believe that's beginning to occur. As soon as people realize the world didn't end and the economy didn't collapse, we'll be fine.

After a short burp over late Dec/early January where I did not know for sure how we were going to proceed business-wise for 2009 and onward, I finalized some new connections and opened a new business to go with my longstanding lawn/garden biz.
We confidently forecast at least a 20% increase in bottom line income for 2009 and will enter 2010 on an upward curve.
I also did not watch the video clip, but applaud the general sentiment of the Title.

Guess it depends with who you spend your time.
I don't "hear doom and gloom" because I don't associate with people who are doom and gloomers and I don't watch television, listen to radio or read material that is doom & gloom.
