You know that the Gods of Blackjack will throw out 4 eights.

My worst hand ever was at the Venetian.

I had started with somewhere around $3000 and was up to about $9000. Decided to play one more 2 deck shoe. About 1/2 the way through I got 88 with $2500 behind it. Debated just hitting it. Dealer held a 9. But being the gambler I am I split it. Next card - 10. Next card 8. Split it again. Next card 8. Split it again. Next card A. Next card 10. Next card 6 then 6. So I am sitting with 18, 20, 18, 20... Figure we push and go to bed. Oh now - Out comes the 2, 4, 6, for the clean F----cking sweep.

Well in my haste to type, I forget the fourth split required a $1000 marker, so there was about a 3 minute pause before the ass whipping.

In one hand about 5 hours and $6000 up became $4000 down.

I hope the blackjack gods stay away from the Bash!!
