OUT OF 8 TEAMS THEY BEAT, NOT 1 TEAM IS OVER .500

THE COMBINED RECORD OF THOSE 8 TEAMS IS 21W- 35L:lolBIG:

THEY HAVE PLAYED ABSOLUTELTY NO ONE

THERE ARE 10 TEAMS IN THE NCAA THAT WOULD BE FAVORED TO BEAT THESE FRAUDS BY THE LINESMAKERS

IT WILL BE A CRISIS IF THEY GET INTO THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME

WHAT A JOKE THE NCAA IS, HOW IS IT FAIR WHEN EVERYONE HAS A CONFERENCE CHAMPIONSHIP PLAYOFFS WHEN BIG 10 AND PAC 10 DOESNT:ohno:

That Penn St homer fool should be in here soon to argue your point. Last thread he was telling us all how Wisconsin is a legit top 10 team.

If they beat OSU they deserve to be ranked ahead of usc, obviously.

Well first, while the pac 10 doesn't have a conference championship game the pac 10 does play 9 conference games. Meaning every team plays every other team in the conference. In the SEC teams don't even play 3 other teams in their conference. So alabama doesn't have to play Florida.

Second, I really don't like penn st at all but the las vegas sports consultants, you know the guys that actually do make the lines, had Penn St. as the #5 team in the country before this week. So on a neutral field only 4 teams would be favored to beat them. And the only SEC team ranked higher is Florida. They have Alabama #8 by the way.

Third, um Oregon st. and Illinois both are over .500 so your statement is innaccurate.

4TH, according to ncaa.org Penn St. has the 74 toughest scheduale in the nation if you count past and future opponents, which yes is pretty awful, but you know what. It's still one spot higher than Alabama's SOS.

And 5th, It's funny that every SEC guy will cry about other conferences not having a conference chapionship game but you never remember to mention that the SEC conference championship game often helps your conference. Remember last year how LSU jumped over Va tech and UGA because of playing and winning the conference chapionship game. Or how about the year before when OSU and Mich were #1, and #2 but Florida jumped Michigan when the played in the conference championship game. So 2 out of the last 2 years the fact that the SEC has a conference championship game has put one of your teams into the BCS championship game.

to tell you the truth I don't think Penn St is the best team in the country either but they are outscoring their opponents by 33 PPG. and their closest game was 14 points. I don't care who they are playing that is ridiculous. By comparison teams like Alabama beat Kentucky by 3 and beat a 3-4 Ole Miss by 4. Florida lost to that 3-4 ole miss team. Point is everybody else in the country plays close games from time to time but Penn St. is killing everybody. They are probably ranked about where they should be. But next week we will see how good they are.

What a horrible comparison when teams like Alabama & Florida are playing better competition. The Mississippi team you mentioned lost every game they did due to turnovers as they legitimately could be undefeated right now. Penn State should beat the opponents they faced including a shorthanded OSU team by what they did. If they make the title game, they will be destroyed by whomever they play.

Ole Miss is not that good. And certainly shouldn't beat or come close to beating top SEC teams. They are a perrenial doormat in the SEC and they have lost 4 games this year already. Including losing to a Wake Forest team the got blown out by Maryland last week and lost to Navy. Ole Miss is currently 11th in the SEC out of 12 teams. As far as losing because of turnovers. O.K., so I guess Michigan is a decent football team to because without turnovers they would be 5-2. Turnovers are part of the game, you can't dismiss them like they don't count. It's their fault they turn the ball over. It's part of the reason why they are a average to bad team.

Ole Miss is not ranked in the top 25 in any, and I mean any statisical category. Including Rushing offense, passing offense, total offense, scoring offense, rush def, pass def, total def, scoring def, turnover margin, hell even punting, kick and kick retuns. Yet I'm supposed to believe they are a good football team. In fact in all but 1 of those categories they are ranked below #50.

As long as they win 2 more games, I could care less who they play in a bowl. The over and under in vegas was 9 and I jumped all over them. One more win for a push.
