it was a former Husky fest in Seattle tonight...Ken Bone used to coach there, so did one of his assistants, and a Husky transfer, Phil Nelson, is the man who almost singlehandedly engineered the comeback by blocking shots and draining threes
Romar is far from one of the worst coaches, but his reputation has certainly taken a hit these past couple of years...transfers have hurt him, but it is his player development and game strategy that worries me more - i am hoping that once he gets his type of players in here and they stay for a couple of years his system will start looking a lot better, as it usually does when you win...he is still recruiting well and I haven't given up on him yet but the criticism is valid

LOL. It really makes me laugh when people call UW "wazzou." Those that don't know the difference probably shouldn't be betting on the game to begin with.

yeah, the boys in Seattle are distracted, to be sure...way too much to do over here, i'm sure they'd be better if we locked em in a cow pasture for 6 months and threw em a roundball :lol:
all excuses aside, thank you for doing your part to illustrate the difference between the two sides - one of the big differences is that the east side hates the west side, while the west holds no animosity towards the east side but rather appreciates it for its recreational opportunities and rugged beauty %^_
That said, I really hope the dub beats the cougs this year. Our "arrogance", as you guys like to call our confidence, is wearing thin, and coug jokes aren't quite as funny as they once were. Touting the women's volleyball and cross-country teams is getting old lol. The circle of life keeps on turnin', here's to it comin back around soon :toast:
