Looking at poll numbers three months before the election is like watching a pot boil.

History has proven that polls in August rarely have any relation to what happens in November. Right now everything is positioning.

Now I understand that most lefties in this forum are rich, idle Americans, government employees, and unempoyed Canadians and Englishmen on the dole, who have nothing else to do with their time - but all of us conservatives have to work in the dreaded private sector and don't have time to waste reading up on this stuff.

Lets talk polls in October!

You like stereotypes dont you.

So are you a gun toting gobshite who crushes beercans on his forehead on weekends and then spends the week at the chicken-plucking factory.

You left out the part about us being dope-smoking communists.

Its funny when their is losing the polls mean nothing. When a sitting president is doing this badly it spells trouble. Bush's approval ratings in the toilet, economy tanking, Iraq a mess. Vote Nov 2nd and get the bum outta the white house.

Mudbone, You got it wrong:

College students smoke dope.

Communists sit in a dark smoke filled room deciding who'll be the presidential candidate for the Democrat Party!

Hey, eek - what do you mean by stereotype? Don't tell me you have a job?

By the way, I had to pay long distance to find out what a Glaswegian Kiss was, but Google gave me gobshite - so you're accusing me of being a reporter for the NY Times?

Used to work for the private sector, in a UK corporation.
That got taken over by a US corporation and it was downhill all the way as far as the producers of outputs were concerned.
I will NEVER work for an employer again.(fuk that. NOT worth the risk.)

Self employed now and got my life back.

Most long term business success comes from learning an independent way to make your money....I figured it out at an early age, thanks to being exposed to some very smart, very financially successful folks. Props to you for getting on board.

One never needs to worry about 'job security' when one is self-employed and giving a good product and/or service to people.

Isn't it cute watching republicans imply they are the party for working people (labor)?

Some working class republicans I meet really believe it too. Too stupid to realize that they've been duped into thinking they have more in common with the CEO than their co-workers.
