In no mans land. Phoenix will always be dumb in the end and the Spurs quietly wear the rings.

Under in these Xmas games continues to come in. If every player answered honestly, all of them would say they would rather be home with family. Lack of focus on offense = unders??

amazing how little NBA players recognize game situations. The last thing you do having a two point lead with 5 seconds to play is collapse and help on penetration, leaving a wide open three. Even if Parker drives and scores the worse you do is go to overtime. Amazing how many times you see this in the course of a year

no offense, but your arm chairing it. you have to be in the situation to actually have an idea of the thought process involved.

My Boy is entirely correct!

no offense takin, I played basketball through college and it's very hard to focus on these types of end of the game situations as a player because they are all taught to help defensively and stop penetration for the other 99% of the game, but at that moment in the game it's completely the wrong thing to do

That is basic defense taught to high school kids.

gtco you must be an attorney of some kind...

Having said that, if you go to help on that play but arent able to get there, go back to your man with a hand in his face.

Make yoursef useful. Watch him in the highlight, he just stands frozen as the shot went up.
