WATCH: HOUSE OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE RELEASES DAMNING VIDEO OF HILLARY’S LIES TO CONGRESS

Posted by The Right Scoop on Aug 16, 2016 at 10:16 AM in Politics | 27 Comments

The Republican House Oversight Committee has just released a new damning video of Hillary’s lies to Congress versus the truth that the FBI director told us after months and months of investigation:

Here’s more:

Today, House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) and House Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte (R-VA) sent a letter to U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Channing Phillips identifying several examples where Secretary Hillary Clinton’s sworn testimony before Congress is incompatible with evidence collected during the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s (FBI) investigation into the Secretary’s private email server.

The letter is in response to a Department of Justice letter sent to Chairmen Chaffetz and Goodlatte last week saying the department will “take appropriate action as necessary” on the Chairmen’s request for an investigation into the matter.

The letter states:

“The evidence collected by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during its investigation of Secretary Clinton’s use of a personal email system during her time as Secretary of State appears to directly contradict several aspects of her sworn testimony, which are described in greater detail below.”

“During a House Select Committee on Benghazi hearing on October 22, 2015, Secretary Clinton testified with respect to (1) whether she sent or received emails that were marked classified at the time; (2) whether her attorneys reviewed each of the emails on her personal email system; (3) whether there was one, or more servers that stored work-related emails during her time as Secretary of State; and (4) whether she provided all her work-related emails to the Department of State.”

“Although there may be other aspects of Secretary Clinton’s sworn testimony that are at odds with the FBI’s findings, her testimony in those four areas bears specific scrutiny in light of the facts and evidence FBI Director James Comey described in his public statement on July 5, 2016 and in testimony before the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform on July 7, 2016.”

You have to be kidding - that is so obvious it is pathetic. This administration is giving her a pass for political reasons only. She lied numerous times and that should be pursued legally. Who wants a liar running this country. If lies were pillows Hillary would by on top of the softest mountain in the world.

[h=6]- AUGUST 16, 2016 -[/h][h=1]ICYMI: FOX NEWS: “HOUSE REPUBLICANS DETAIL PERJURY ALLEGATIONS AGAINST CLINTON”[/h]Please read the following excerpts from “House Republicans Detail Perjury Allegations Against Clinton” by Catherine Herridge, Fox News, 8/16/16
House Republicans have detailed perjury allegations against Hillary Clinton, citing the apparent conflict between her 2015 congressional testimony about her email practices and the FBI's conclusions announced in July, according to a letter to the U.S. attorney for the District of Columbia.
"The four pieces of sworn testimony by Secretary Clinton described herein are incompatible with the FBI's findings," House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, and Judiciary Committee Chairman Bob Goodlatte, R-Va., wrote to U.S. Attorney Channing D. Phillips. "We hope this information is helpful to your office's consideration of our referral."
The Justice Department Assistant Attorney General for Legislative Affairs, Peter Kadzik, confirmed in an Aug. 2 letter to both committees they had the perjury investigation request and the department would "take appropriate action as necessary."
The one-page response offered no timeline nor specific commitment to act on the allegations.

A retired assistant FBI director, and 28-year-veteran of the bureau, said a perjury review is generally straightforward for agents.
"They look at the transcript of the testimony they provided in light of what they know to be, suspect to be the truth. They investigate both sides and take the aggregate and turn it over to the prosecuting authority for a decision," Steven Pomerantz said.
"Since the Director (Comey) already established what she (Clinton) said and the investigation is complete, it would be a relatively simple matter to make a decision about perjury... given the history of this, it's hard to say - it would seem to me a matter of weeks not months in this case."
A violation of 18 USC 1621 can lead to a fine, imprisonment up to five years, or both though legal experts said the crux of the case will rely on showing intent.
