hard for me to believe that every poster judging here hasn't done something similar before... not saying it's a smart move, just saying i'm sure a lot of folks on the forum have driven while over the legal limit.

Honestly, I never have and just because most of the posters on this board have done it, doesn't make it right.

3/4 of a bottle of wine, 2 shots and a glass of liquor is a ton of alochol. I'm 200 lbs with reasonable tolerance and with that amount of alcohol, I may not be able to walk, much less drive.

did i say it was right...?

i'm not going to argue about how much is how much, or argue about anything else for that matter - my point is just that unless those judging can honestly say they haven't done it, ever, then they're not in much of a position to judge.

I dont know where you learned to drink son, but I have this amount some nights before I even go to the bar.. Thats not much booz at all. Yes, probably legally drunk, but nowhere near black out drunk stage. Anyway we all know drinking and driving is not only stupid, it's illegal. That being said, many people still do it. later

I witnessed the seen of a drunk driving accident before the cops got there. It was the most gruesome thing I have ever saw! For that reason alone I will never drink ANYTHING and drive. I won't even drive buzzed. It is still very clear in my mind and it happen 8 years ago.

Driving while impaired by alcohol use is certainly a bad idea, but the least prevalent reason is that you might "kill someone else".

In fact, that's extremely rare when we look at all driving as a whole.

The most compelling reasons to not drive while impaired by alcohol are those that lead to the driver himself being harmed.

If you know you're going to consume sufficient alcohol to impair your driving, there are numerous alternatives to driving after drinking.
Plan in advance for one of those alternatives and you'll never have to worry about experiencing one or more of the many possible adverse consequences of DWI by alcohol.

WVU That is a great idea! The instructor sitting in the passenger seat may have a problem with me taking a pic while I'm going 150 miles an hour, but I will surely try!

Bigbet, ur right - I'm an idiot but was in a hurry to meet Lap and Fig at the Hard Rock last night (no alcohol though) - tried to get Lap to do a couple of Patron shots shots but he draws the line with shots and Fig is a recovering alcoholic so he don't drink
