Now that would be a real kick in the head Coach. You mean to tell me that the whole town of Seattle and everyone here (as is true most places) has been punch drunk on Petersen and that's all there is to say about him? Unfukking real if it's true. I'd have to count myself in with the crowd of suckahs who been drinkin' the kool-aid too if it is. Lemme also point out that Sarkisian ain't all he's cracked up to be himself but I'll cut him some slack for taking one square in the gut from David Shaw the week before he went to BC and lost. He's back in the doghouse until someone lets him out. But if you believe in guys like Sonny Dykes, then you might be onto something. Unfukking real!
This can't all be happening can it? At least Helfrich has held his own vs his counterparts... guys like Dantonio that he clearly outcoached (with a little help from his Heisman candidate QB) and showed no mercy for in the Duck's win 2 weeks ago. I know that these things are at best just snap shots of reality but it's still pretty real and nevertheless unexpected to see all these things really happening... not to mention the biggest of all unrealities, UCLA's ugliness in the way they've gone about winning games. And what's going on with them today? It seems like almost everything I see in this conference is on the verge of something, but on the verge of what? Nevertheless, as a conference they've not won many games in the manner they were expected to win. But they haven't lost but a few all told either. Thus far, the Pac is a bookies paradise.
I meant to mention that I like WSU in the Oregon game, but as I said earlier, Helfrich could be one of the few that is making it go right. Just look at how many people that concept has fooled so far. As usual, nothing too weird for the Pac. Anybody think it's about the right time for Leach to prove what a nuisance he really is. Think the Ducks will take the Coogs for granted tonight? Or are the Ducks really that focused as a team? Could Mark Helfrich as a head coach be the rock they've needed all along? It could be true because their play at the LOS has been the best I've seen from them, maybe ever. But I can't blame any of the doubters because they've always found a way to blow a game they should have or could have won, but perhaps not this year.
