do the right thing
25th hour
inside man


just to name a few

Those movies had good scripts. Do the Right Thing was terrible film making, great story though. I liked 25th hour a lot.


Has he ever made a bonafide classic?

Not me, I have nothing against Spike Lee other than his bigoted views. I enjoyed 25th hour and I love all gangsta movies so of course I liked Clockers. Spike Lee's direction still IMO leaves a lot to be desired. BTW I love BLACK MOVIES so your argument is invalid.
