</TD></TR><TR><TD vAlign=top colSpan=3>NBA front-office sources say that the Warriors are close to trading Jamal Crawford to the Hawks for Acie Law and Speedy Claxton.
The Warriors made it crystal clear that Crawford wasn't part of their plans next season, and this move gives them salary cap relief and a capable backup PG in Law. It's unclear where the Hawks would use Crawford in their backcourt -- he's not a pure PG like free-agent-to-be Mike Bibby and they already have an All-Star shooting guard in Joe Johnson.

Great move. Golden St still won't play D, and now Atlanta will play 75% overs. Win-Win.

Good acquisition by the Warriors to lengthen their bench. Crawford was worthless to them.

Better deal for Golden State in my opinion.

Claxton's always hurt, and has one year left on his contract.

Acie Law will be out of the NBA when his contract expires in two years.

Crawford is overrated and a ballhog who I wouldn't want on my team.

Addition by subtraction for both teams with the slight edge to Golden St. because they desperately wanted to get rid of Crawford and they were able to get it done.

his contract is huge. he can still play but the warriors wanted to unload the contract. Law and claxton will probably never see meaningful minutes
