a good friend of mine posts at bettors chat and was banned there because they did not like some of the things he was saying. he said he was surprised that the sites that specialize in service plays relied on posters to provide the plays and he thought the owners of the sites should pay to provide the plays.so they in turn tried to drag his name thru the mud by implying he was a tout and then banned him from replying.

isn't that great, last time i checked we still lived in AMERICA the land of free speech.i almost crapped my pants when he told me this. what a bunch of snakes.

i know alot of guys here surf the different sites out there. just wanted to give u guys a heads up if u go there or any other site. big brother is always watching.but if we avoid that site we can send them a message that we can and will fight back.

please pass this along to all the people that believe in free speech.

anyway if someone said something to my face I didn't like I would let them know bout it, and if they continued I would take continued action against them.

On the Internet I would just ban them from my site... if I loose traffic or money over it then it was my call.

don't think for a second that there is free speech in america, you can't even talk about Internet gambling. Google bans gambling ads but allows ads for hydroponic equipment and bongs. wtf?

u know general the more i read what u posted the more pi**ed off i get. figures ur going to stick up for them but according to my bud, he did not post any thing obscene, vulgar, sex-oriented, hateful or threatening. he just spoke his mind out loud. he did not know how sensitive they would be.the thing that he's mad about is how they went about trying to slime his name, they could have just banned him and no problem. i guess u agree with those tactics also. that shows how much they care about their posters. tell me this place is not the same. i think i know the answer.

I have no Idea what goes on where you mention. I have never been there other than today. I looked at the register info and it is very clear before you sign up that the moderators will clean house as they see fit. I am not up to par with their tactics and likely never will be.

general its not my situation, but when someone is wronged, weather its u, me or someone else here i will stick up for that person. i know u let the guys here speak their minds most of the time without being banned, thats why this is one of the best forums period.

if u banned everybody here for speaking their own minds u would have very few posters.

If you're referring to your friend 3G sports then yes he was banned for mouthing off among other things. My site takes pride in not allowing bashing etc. to take place on the site.

My site also provides free service plays and has since 2000. Every year i've given away service plays for both football and hoops. This year however, I did not do hoops as I don't have the time.

first of all my friend is not and does not have any connection to 3g

sports, thats lie #1.lie # 2 tell me what bashing went on when all he said was he was surprised that posters had to pay with their own money for service plays , he thought the people that owned the site did. thats all. u my friend can spin it all u want because u ban people for speaking their own mind.thats what is so great about the rx , people can express their own thoughts without worring bout getting banned, u should take note.

i done with this crap ,its up to my friend now to do his own thing but i think he got his point across between me and 5 other guys that posts on different sites over 5,000 people viewed what went on,and even some of the sr. posters at ur site felt bad. he got alot of positive feedback.most people know me on here as a positive person ,so u guys at bt or bc do the right thing in the future and don't be so sensitive.

I see what you're saying, however after banning him I got an e-mail from 3G sports. I found that to be very odd too. Your friend could of always sent me an e-mail asking what was up etc, and went from there. However, I guess you would like to take a different route which explains your behaivor.

As for my site I have a very strong loyal following and no one posted anything that I can remember stating that me banning him was wrong. A matter of fact I got some congratulations on it.

i better get a good commission for being the "spokesperson" for my friend.he is out of the office today and i just passed along what u said.after this he wants me to drop it, he made his point.

but he said this is the route he had to take because u tried to slime his name in public and not let him reply in public cause you banned him from posting.

as far as your loyal followers,i saw the many private messages that they sent to him telling him how wrong it was to ban him and they felt bad but could not say so in public. i can't say who they are but well known names .

he will not e-mail u because he does not need ur site and i agree there r a dozen sites out there that do the same thing u do that are not so uptight about what people say.

bettorstalk,after consultation with my client and to put this thing to rest(and for me to get some work done) he offers the following.

u unban him from posting and he will post that he is sorry if he offended any one

u say that he is not associated with 3g's or any service at all. and that be it, no hard feelings

in summary u must ask urself 4 things

1. is it the truth

2. is it fair to all concerned

3. will it build goodwill and better friendships

4. will it be benefical to all concerned

i say yes to all, let him know here in this open forum.
