WARNING: BML Admits Slow Pay

This isn’t necessarily news to those of us who know BML’s history, but newbies should be warned about such non-paying/slow-paying books as often as possible.

Here’s a recent letter supposedly issued by BML “management” on October 20 that illustrates exactly why you should NEVER send a single penny to BML Sports:

<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><font size="-1">quote:</font><HR>
Dear Customers,

Greetings from BML SPORTS. It is our unfortunate task to inform you of yet another disaggriviance (sic): one more audit requested by the governmental authorities has once more frozen our access to our major bank account, which is from which (sic) we obtain all the necessary funding to cover for all weekly redemptions.

Our Management Board has sought for a solution to this problem in order to make all actual pending redemptions available as soon as possible to our clientele. In the meantime, no new withdrawals will be processed until November 3rd (date by which the audit will have concluded).

We have also thought necessary to establish another deadline for all pending payments to be finally available, in case we cannot manage to have all funds sent as soon as we would hope. This is to be also November 3rd.

All Withdrawal requests entered since last Monday October 13th and future ones will be stored and turned in for processing by November 3rd. We apologize for this very inconvenient happening.

Sincerely,
BML SPORTS Management Board
<HR></BLOCKQUOTE>

This sounds like complete and utter BS to us … perhaps some of you CR folks out there can share your experiences with the type of “governmental bank audits” that BML describes above

I wonder if they are sharing this information with new depositing players

It is complete BS. They are still booking bets and I assure will take post-ups. This practice is one example of books that give the industry a bad name. If they can get away with this practice, then what is keeping another rogue shop from doing the same?

Books can't use banks in Costa Rica to pay their customers.

They are just lying.

This is ridiculous…

Worst part of all, is that they are claiming that “one more audit requested”… meaning this is not the first time they use this excuse to not pay their customers.

Hey why not BOYCOT all BOOKS that are in the same BUILDING as these clowns. I beleive then you might get the leverage ya need to have something done about these clowns.

Hollywood, GoTo, Sportbet, Gamblerspalace, Simplenetbet, blockbusterbets, and others all there. Along with the same software provider for Sportbet as well.

Worth a try......

Is that true? No one can legislate who hangs out with someone away from work but I would be surprised if established books hang around stiffs like this. Are you kidding or serious Sr Muny? Just curious.

Hey guys,

There are 2 buildings side by side that house a number of sportsbooks. About 6 months ago there was an exodus by the smaller books from Equus building - my guess is they wanted to fly under the radar so as not to pay CR sportsbook tax.

These smaller books moved to houses in remote areas - do not know location, just know that they are no longer in Equus building.

Patrick,

It is SAD, but just they way it is. I am not saying the other BOOKS aprove, but they PARTY still goes on. Ya know what I mean.

I suggest the RX get all the INFO they can from players that are being stiffed, then turn it over to the local lawyer. It may help.

Sr Muny- There is no doubt this happens. I always appreciate it when employees from books talk about one another. We can gain valuable insight as players when this happens.

Sr - I understand what you are saying, the owners can't tell his people who not to hang around with off the clock. I guess I am old-fashioned in that the last place you would catch me is partying with stiffs. Just doesn't make sense to me personally. I agree with you, it is sad. I better shut up now as it may be someone I know and I will have to take my foot out of my mouth.

Speaking of lawyers I met a fat one down there last time and hung out with him a couple of days. Came down to play poker and mess around. Always tried to remember that guys name but it slipped my mind completely. His San Jose tours where quite impressive.

So, do any of the CR guys on this board know exactly where BML Sports is located?

Some folks I know would love to "do lunch" with Adrian and the rest of the BML crew

It is very disturbing to think some of the respected books would hang with thieves and read/know about the wrong doings.
