and what has Obama proposed a policy to reduce that debt?

I'll make it simple, is Obama proposing to increase or decrease that debt?

and what's with this "per citizen" bullshit anyways. Only a relatively few citizens will be paying the vast majority of any debt, it's tradition.

Wrong again Willie.

His tax plan brings in more revenue than Mc's and his budget proposal is to stay within the revenue as soon as possible.

The republican history of living within our means sucks. The Democrats have a much better record.

This amount pales in comparison to the trillions of dollars that were leveraged due to this failed program of getting people into houses that had no business owning a home. Failed programs started by Bill Clinton and supported by Barack Obama.

Trillions? QL I think you need to check your figures.

Don't worry punter, Bush 2 was just as guilty as Slick Willie in trying to get people into homes who couldn't afford a down payment or who had bad credit.

Trillions in leverage

Financial institutions nationwide might have to reduce leverage by trillions of dollars, insiders said.
According to Buchanan Street estimates, that reduction could amount to $5 trillion. “There will be some fabulous opportunities in this,” Mr. Ballard said. “There will be folks who are forced to sell because they can’t refinance. There will be more sellers than buyers, and purchase prices will decline.”

What am I wrong about again? Obama's tax cuts are projected to grow the deficit in and by themselves.

If he even dreams about his massive spending increases, the deficit increases still.

So when I say that Obama will grow the debt that you are complaining about, I am "dead on balls accurate".

All that other subjective bullshit you mention is a fucking fairy tail. No independent organization anywhere has determined Obama decreases the deficit or the debt. Of course, the deficit will decrease once the economy starts growing again, and it will no matter who the President is, but the debt will continue to increase.

Furthermore, the Iraqi war subsiding will also help to bring the deficit down, and the next President will benefit from that as well.

Finally, Newt was the only person to author a balanced budget in my lifetime, and President Clinton shares the credit for signing it. The rest of the Democratic party fought against such budget until the very end, and they do not get any credit for it's successes, although they sure like to take credit for a budget they opposed.

based on tax revenues and current levels of spending Cuzzy. When you factor in Obama's growth in government spending, an unknown at this point, I assure you those there numbers will change.
