Want Rx input on this strange situation...

My wife and I just got home from dinner (BTW, the waitresses and some of the other female patrons were f'cking HOT!!). My wife went to get the mail. She noticed the little flag on the mailbox was in the "up position". In the mailbox, aside from today's mail, was a Ziploc bag with a tiny amount of white powder in it.

Let me get your thoughts, could it be:

1) It looked like coke (I've never done it, but I've been around it quite a bit). However, any user I've know wouldn't have left the slightest amount in the bag. They would've licked it clean. Meth?

2) Someone f'cking w/us, wanting us to think it is Anthrax. No bad blood w/any neighbors, although do have a group of white trash late teens living across the street that are outside ALL NIGHT every weekend (see #1).

3) Someone f'cking w/us, and it is actually Anthrax (highly doubt that).

Do I call the cops and report it? My typical M/O is to just let it go so I threw the bag/residue into the trash.

I would call the 311 or whatever, non emergency number to ask if they can send someone down to look at it, it doesnt hurt

It is of course (99.5% sure) some dummy thinking he's playing a funny joke.

I'd report it to police in the event Mr Dummy is doing it to other people in the neighborhood.

Being as his sense of humor is this low, I'd bet 50/50 he left incriminating fingerprints on the bag.

That only helps if his prints are on file. But again, chances are fair that someone this dumb has encountered police before.

Thought about tasting it, but for all I know it could be insect killer.

As for 311, not in NYC. But I guess I could call the precinct and ask them to send someone when they get a chance. I just don't want the Hazmat team coming here unless it's legit.

Definitely didn't put it in there. Wife not a user (plus she's pregnant).

If it's the trash can kids across the street, then I would rather forget it. They are destined to go back to County at some point.

If it is another neighbor/idiot, I would love to have them arrested and locked up, even if it is just for the remainder of the weekend.

If it is Anthrax, I will die while on the Rx....what better pub for Wil and the crew.

4) A fourth possibility is that there is someone else on the block w/the same last name who is more likely to a) use/cook a certain nasal powder; b) has some enemies.

Was probably a drug delivery and they put in wrong mailbox. I would probably put it back in the mailbox and watcc for who goes to get it and then handle it the best way you see fit.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I opted, for now, to just ignore it and throw the sh!t in the trash. It wasn't a large quantity by any means. It was basically residue of the powder, some of which collected in the corner of the bag.
