In the fight tonight, Joan Guzman couldn't make weight at weigh-in yesterday weighing 3.5 lbs. over the max. Many believe this ****** did this on purpose ala Castillo in Corrales vs Castillo II. We all know what happened there. Even if he did try to make the weight, he must of drained himself completely. Either way for a fighter who had stamina issues in the past who might come in somewhere weighing in the mid 150 range against a pesky but hittable fighter. something gotta give. I'm taking the under 11.5 at +250 BIGGGGG!!!!
Oh well so much for making money. The fight was just called off! It's reported that Guzman was trying to make weight before the weigh-in and was coughing up blood last night. I don't think he wanted this fight after all. Pathetic but would've been easy money if he stepped through the ropes!
