It does look like a steal, especially since they can just cut ties with him after the season. They gave up nothing they really needed and what will amount to a low draft pick for a guy that fills such an obvious need. Don't know if they are going to win the East with this move, but it certainly doesn't hurt them to try with this move.

mike james, 6-2 190 duquene grad. .young player in only his 3rd NBA season... PG for boston putting up over 10 pts a game. young talent, with a ton of room to grow. very sharp looking player aquired from the heat.
