Wake has More NBA talent than North Car.

The better team won the game.

IF North Car was 7 at Wake are they suppose to be 15 at home?:nohead:

NorthCarolina over hyped and overrated and it showed tonight.

Going to Provo and winning, and going to Anaheim and win that tourney that ASU and Baylor were in is more impressive than anything that North Car has done.

i think that was as easy as a bet as there will be all year (hence 7 unit play). anyone who didn't think wake was a top team needs to stepping betting cbb. no way that line should have been +7. fine with me i like gifts.

another team to watch out for is clemson,they have a game coming up at unc and basically have never won at unc so I would be weary.NEVER WON! But clemson is more than capable of beating unc.

I think either clemson or wake or duke could end up winning the acc regular season,unc 0-2 right now and in the acc cellar.

I was surprised by UNC's piss poor defense.

and their supposedly a stud PG totally lost his composure and tried to make it a one on one game. Roy never reeled him in.

Having said that, it's only one or two games in January, and March is when it matters most.

We all know "shit happens", otherwise winning would be easy. Everybody has their day.

i agree, but also that north carolina is getting everyones best . they are the team to beat. if you watched the the two games they lost, you would realize that both teams shot lights out. And as far as being overated please, GIVE ME A BREAK WITH THAT STUPID LINE. every team is the acc will have a bad road record, mark it down. the only game i see unc losing is maybe at duke. they will win out and then evrybody can call them overated.

One of the biggest games of the year so far is going to be in Clemson this upcoming Saturday... undefeated Clemson plays undefeated Wake Forest. Since Wake just beat UNC, I think Wake will be favored fairly largely. I'll be all over the tigers if so... It's tough to win on the road against quality competition in the ACC.

I doubt Wake will be favored on the road. They are still a young team and I wouldn't be surprised if they lost to BC this week. Typical letdown game after winning a huge game just ask BC who lost to Harvard.

As a huge unc fan i was surprised that the line opened as high as 5 and that people bet it all the way up to 7. Wake is a very good, deep, and athletic team that was playing at home. I don't think it is any surprise that they won.

A few weeks back when all of the un-educated bball fans were asking if UNC would go undefeated, I said no way. They would prob lose at Wake, one game against duke and then probably another game or two along the way (most likely clemson). I did not anticipate them losing a home game to BC so early in the season though.

Last year they had several close games (both clemson games and fsu) that they could have easily lost. Right now they are struggling without marcus ginyard. Ginyard is their glue guy who would guard and usually shut down the opponents best player, as Rice and Teague have torched them the past two games, as well as getting key steals or offensive rebounds.

UNC will continue to struggle until Ellington gets his jumper going and Thompson can go back to 3/4 of how good he was playing through the michigan state game. The key factors on UNC making another strong run are a) ginyards health b) the emergence of will graves as a scorer of the bench c) Deon thompson.

All that being said, I still feel very comfortable with my futures bet of unc at 5:2. As good as I think Wake is, I believe that they are 1 year away from making a deep run in the tourney.
