Wake Forest basketball coach Jamill Jones could face murder charges now that the death of Sander Szabo has been ruled a homicide.

Without having all the facts like having the opportunity to review the CCTV footage, I think we're all guessing in the dark here.

Yeah, I'm not so sure about that charge either. Seems excessive at first glance.
It’s excusable, and they may get lucky and get him for a criminally negligent homicide or manslaughter, but I doubt it. Worst he does 2-4 years imo,or least he gets probation and a huge lawyer bill to pay without a current job.

Either way,his life and career are wrecked for the time being...

I think his career, as he knows it in basketball, is over.

I think his career, as he knows it in basketball, is over.

Probably so...

A very similar incident happened to a guy I went to HS with, a few years back...

Guy hit him,he got knocked down and hit his head on the curb. He was found dead a couple days later at his home. Coroner ruled blunt force trama to the head as the result of his passing. Guy was originally charged with aggravated assault, and then involuntary manslaughter. He eventually plead guilty almost 2 years later to the manslaughter charge. Sentencing was 5 years, suspended to 3 years probation. I foresee about the same thing in this unfortunate circumstance.

Then, it will be a civil matter where the deceased family will sue for wrongful death, and win...

Terrible situation as a whole for everyone.
