I think everyone should do what they want to do. If you want to live a life without any substances then you should. If you wanna eat like shit and get fat go ahead. If you wanna smoke pot do it. You wanna shove a 8 ball up your nose more power to you. You want to run 5 miles a day then you should. Who cares.

Food does not = illegal drug use. Is this a serious comparison?

YES! Food is more a problem than illegal drugs ever thought about being. Take a look around, majority of people are fat and driving up health cost...

Can one piece of corn on the cob give me a heart attack? Can a burrito result in my arrest and conviction? Can drinking a soda result in a DWI?

[h=1]Reports indicate Von Miller’s suspension was not triggered by a positive drug test[/h]Two reports say Von Miller's suspension was not triggered by a positive drug test, which could at least change the perception of Denver Broncos linebacker and his four-game suspension, which is being appealed.
The Denver Post and USA Today both cited sources saying he did not test positive for performance-enhancing or recreational drugs. The Post had previously reported that he tested positive for marijuana as a rookie in 2011, which put him in the NFL's drug program. That means many things could trigger a suspension, such as missing tests or counseling sessions.

When cornerback Champ Bailey was so defiant in defending his teammate and said he'd be surprised if Miller was suspended, perhaps he knew that part of the story.
Miller has stayed mum, repeatedly talking about the confidentiality of the program during a pre-camp meeting with the press (a fairly obvious shot at whoever leaked the information he had been suspended for a violation of the drug policy), and said he would be more expansive on what happened after his appeal.
If it's true that Miller didn't test positive, something still caused the NFL to suspend him. But this bit of news should give the Broncos a little more hope that his appeal has a chance of being successful.

Come on. Of course I'm not making a direct comparison but people, for various reasons, can treat both in the same way. It's not nearly as back and white as you're trying to paint my assertion.
