The "Vulnerable" 5th, as college baseball refers to the 5th inning. 2nd or 3rd time around the order gets to see a pitcher. Horne has been working hard these past few innings.
Leadoff walk to Alley. Tennessee has the top of the order up, this could be a bad inning in the "Vulnerable 5th" for the Gators. If he can get out of this inning with minimal damage 1 run or less....the Gators have a couple of good guys in the bullpen.

Gators backup QB Gavin Dickey (who ironically will see some time at WR in Urban Meyer's offense this next season as well) drops a routine fly ball in left. Never seen him do that before. Next guy flies out to center for the sac fly, in what should have ended the inning.

Barton hits a piss rod that is caught at the warning track in right field by Iorg with a tremendous catch, which ends up being a sac fly. Then Davis with bases loaded hits a grandslam for the Gators but its robbed by Iorg leaping and robbing the homerun.

Going to get interesting what they do with Hochevar...Gators are teeing off on him..with 5 potential homerun/warning track balls in this game
But he's gone 6 IP.
Tennessee will most likely lose this game, which means they will go to the loser's bracket and will have to play extra games, so they need their bullpen. Hochevar needs to eat innings without letting this game get out of hand. He's clearly mentally frustrated and the Gators have confidence in hitting him.

It does, but no lead is safe in college baseball. With the aluminum bat, that lead can change with the blink of an eye. As long as the Gators minimize damage with any jams they get into and don't give up any 2+ run innings, they should be OK... every out is critical now
