vizio tv's

Im looking to get a new tv for the bedroom, i have a sony in the living room and its nice. I was wondering if any of you have a vizio and if so how do you like it and does it compare to top brands

not bad ........my son has one in his room .......watched a hockey game w/ him last night ......very good IMO .......as far as longevity .....cant tell you ....but all in all very good .....
they have there OWN website ...but we picked up ours @ cosco

Walmart.com has a 32 inch 1080p lcd for 497.00. Thinking about just doing that one. Thanks for the help

I just bought 2 emerson 32 inch from Walmart for my kids rooms and thery seem to be pretty good I have a friend that bought the same for his kids last year and he says they are great so I went out and got 2 on his reference. He had a Vizio in his garage and said the emersons are better. Make sure you buy the protection plan for $28 for 2 years on the emersons they will replace them if anything goes wrong just bring it back to wally mart and they give you a new one or what ever they have that is close and that is after the factory protection plan is up. Considering my kids leave them on 24/7 I had to do it.

samsung lnXXa650 series is GREAT. 40 inch model is like 1k now.

Had a vizio & it got burn out right after it went out of factory warranty but fortunately i purchased a 2 yr extended warranty & got all my money [except sales tax] back. I am now going with the samsung with the 10,000 resolution, gl.

Almost bought one the other day- The guy at Walmart said it's hit and miss w/ them. Said they're "either really great, or a lemon out of the box"...
I ended up buying a smokin' deal on a 46" Sharp Aquos at a Ma and Pa store!
