here we go...as you know, we have a well experienced, cavalier team traveling to college park...certainly a road venue that the elder hoos team can handle...virginia comes in as one of the top defensive teams in the nation and is burying teams in the second half as they did all of last year...with a healthy squad, they will be facing a banged up terrapins team...with Wells, the terps best and most experienced player on the shelf for four weeks, the terps will struggle to score the basketball...i know some young guys have stepped up the scoring in the 2 games he has been out, but, lets be serious...it was a 5 point win against monmouth and vmi...not cavalier type competition and certainly these YOUNGER players will struggle against a Bennett lead defense. also, Smotrycz is not right at all and may not play with an ankle injury and their up and coming freshman center, Cekovsky, is also nursing an ankle injury and questionable for tomorrow night's tilt...2 more key guys that certainly could help the terps cause, but either wont be available or wont be 100%. finally, as always, to make this an alert play, there needs to be a motive...and virginia is looking to avenge a loss to the terps that they endured late last season in the same building. with that being said, i believe the cavs have had this game circled and will be ready to put an A+ performance on against the undermanned terrapins. love Bennett as a coach and really think this virginia team puts it on maryland tomorrow by 12 to 15 points...grab the -4 now...as i think it will go up to 5ish by game time...also, really like cleve st tomorrow -3' with their floor gerneral Charlie Lee making his season debut against an underachieving toledo team...bol and enjoy
