I read one of the demand letters, and I don't think they are Russians, they write American English.

If they are Russians, WTF is the KGB when you need them?

What I don't understand is that Sirbet had a DOS attack earlier today and then came back on after 3 hours and Corbey thanked their software company IGW and their experts for bringing them back up.

VIP is with IGW as well...so how come they can help SirBet but VIP is still down?

I just called VIP and was told that this is an attack by hackers demanding a ransom and VIP is refusing to pay this ransom. They are just going to try and wait out the storm. Stay Tuned!

my bro works in high tech, when their site gets hacked they always have a scapegoat, like "weve been hacked by the chinese" this russian mafia stuff sounds the same, but it is probably something much more sinister, such as the CIA, other sportsbooks, las vegas specifically, my advice, it will all go away, it is just an inconvience(i cant spell) I am committed to the offshore books, I love them, mostly, and am just going to hang in there, Id be surprised if this thing gets much bigger, I would not be surprised if some folks end up with some major health problems from doing this, thats my take on it, whatever, doesnt mean dick,
