in most championship games I look to play the total over the spread

I'll be rooting for Nova as the wife is from the area, unless I play the spread, than I'm a fan of who I wagered on

Over. 145 is reasonable . One half will have 80+ so the other just needs 60+. Both teams are capable of 70+. Unless the game stays within 2-3 scores, fouling in the end will push this game over.

Villanova too strong on both sides of the ball. Should cover this easy.

The line is pretty much where it should be. Villanova has everything. Rebounding, blockers, and fantastic perimeter shooting. If they play like they did on Saturday night (I was fortunate to see it live), Michigan will get blown out. Michigan hasn't been tested in this tournament and had the easiest bracket there was. With that said, the outcome doesn't matter to me as I will win regardless. My two remaining pools have me winning $700 if Villanova wins. So as I always do in situations like that, I simply took the +265 moneyline and hedged. I win $500 regardless of outcome.

I think you missed the game against Houston where Michigan was down 2 with Houston going to the line to shoot two free throws with seconds left. Fortunately for Michigan, Houston missed the FT's and the Michigan kid hit a 30 footer to win it at the buzzer.

Nope, didn't miss it at all. Again, Michigan hasn't been tested. Houston is not Villanova.

Michigan hasn't been tested but needed a miracle shot with no time on the clock to beat Houston? Very interesting perspective.

Don't know about you but winning a tourney game by one point is being tested plenty.

I don't care about the last second shot nonsense. I'm talking about quality of opponent. Again, Houston is not Villanova. Michigan has won their tourney before (in fact, they won it last year). That did not equate to an NCAA championship.

I'm not sure why results 2-3 weeks ago beating Mich St and Purdue recently doesn't count as quality opponents.. These were postseason games too..

Like I said, Houston is no Villanova

Your premise wasn't correct. You said, to this point, no team in the tourney had tested Michigan which was clearly wrong. Houston gave them all they could handle and much more.

Nobody ever said Houston was equal to Nova. That's dumb.
