Everybody betting these two teams as if they allready know the outcome. Be very careful if you like either one of these sides, as in the long run, it is not generally a good idea to be backing these types of teams in the NFL.

What do you mean by "these types of teams"?

Do you mean OVERRATED? Minnesota due to this year's play and the Raiders because of last year's run?

(I am not kidding, that was a serious question)

Consensus Minnesota 615 Atlanta 214
Consensus Oakland 678 Chicago 171
It's never good to be with the majority. Beware.

By "these types of teams", am referring to highly backed teams by gamblers in the betting world. Just as Kyhawk has explained in his post.

Lots of "wiseguy" money on the Bears offsetting John Q. Public plays.

I wagered both early in the week. I have my doubts seeing the wagerline consensus.

UNFORTUNATELY, I do not like the Bears or Falcons in these spots, so will be passing all together.

Green Bay -1

Why? Think with Holmgren on sidelines, Favre will be very focused in front of his former mentor. The combo of Driver and Freeman also gives Favre the wide-outs that he is very confortable with. Short week for Packers and bye week for Seahawks a definite concern though. Also, have always liked Packer spin-off Matt Hasselback at QB. Actually, believe Seattle may be the better team ever so slightly, but give the edge to the Packers based on home field and some intangibles.

Raiders/Bears tied at 21 with 3:25 to go and I figured I could use the Bears moneyline to dump at SIA.

Edit: I guess there was good value there that I failed to recognize.
