43 percent of americans under age 20 are racial or ethnic minorities.
in nearly 1 in 10 counties, the minorities are the majority.
white population becoming the older part of society.
huge hispanic 1 year jumps, 15-20 percent in some cities

white makes up 66 percent of the population, but numbers have grown 2 percent since 2000.
7.9 percent for blacks since 2000.
28.9 percent for hispanics since 200
26.3 percent asians since 2000

old model says whites will become minority by 2050, but current trends suggest much sooner.

What I've been saying all along, only to be verbally denigrated by virtually everyone here.

Only thing is, whites are already the minority IMO. I break it down something like:

whites - 40% - 45%
blacks - 25% - 35%
hispanics - 20 - 30%
asians/others (Arabs, Indians, etc.) - 5-10%

Just look at the NBA and NFL. I know, I know, blacks are better athletes than whites. But they're not THAT much better.

Please, no hate mail. Not saying it's good or bad one way or the other. Just my personal observations.

Here in LA, and as a white dude, I can assure you that most, if not all of the time, wherever I go, I am a minority, and that goes for english, as well.

I don't have any data in front of me, but I think 25-35% blacks is way high. I think hispanic may have passed black or if not will do so very very
soon.

Of course, what are we counting half white, half black or hispanic? Is that white, black/hispanic or other? Before too long the majority will be of mixed racial identity and the classification system will be pretty much moot.

Here's another one for you from Dick Gregory (maybe not verbatim):

They say alot of the blacks left the south in the 1940s through the 1960s.

However, if you drive through the old cotton belt of the south (I have many times) you can only wonder who is doing the counting and how inaccurate the census must be.

Basically, 50 years ago, alot of blacks left and for a while thinned the # of blacks in the old south and turned the northern/midwestern cities into toilets.

50 years later, the northern/midwestern cities are now toilets and the south is again also loaded with blacks.
