Awesome! Going to Vegas for the first time in 11 years in about 3 months.... Can't wait to go and I was wondering the same thing about my iPad in the sportsbooks.

I do believe the law changed and that cell phones, et al are now allowed but it's still illegal (or maybe just against house rules) to use them to make bets or "transmit wagering information".
i was there 2 months ago..lot sof laptops and ipads but wireless signals and phone signals at all sportsbooks are not equal and some flat out suck..so you might or might not have internet..
Once they got rid of the runners, there was no reason to police cell phones or any other electronic gadgets. Besides, it was pissing off the "normal" people that were used to having their cell phones to use.
I was out last October and brought my tablet into the book. The signals are all blocked unless you paid for their wi fi access which at the South Point and most every where was like $12.99 a night. Might be different if you have an Ipad with the internet service. I didnt. When I tried to log on all I got was the stupid casino home page. But a guy sitting in front of me had one and had it working. He must have paid. And thats 12.99 per device. I Had a laptop up in the room and didnt want to spring for a second charge so I passed.
