Could someone update me on who has 10 cent baseball lines now in Vegas. It's been a while since I have been around and I lost track.

They all do, at least all the downtown places...

Plaza, Binions, Nugget, Freemont/Cal (both Boyd's prop), All Leroy lines etc.

I know guys that can lay 30-40 K just by walking around a little bit.

If that sin't enough or you can'tr walk a block or two, then I can't help you.

You are telling me something I did not know.

You are saying guy can walk a little DOWNTOWN and get down 40K on a BASEBALL game?

Yes, you just have to bet it at a couple outs. If you aren't a guy that they recognize and act like a tourist then you can get down up to the limit. Most places will take over the 10K, but you still have to sign the paperwork. Obviously you want to keep it below that so bet 7500 or whatever, and depending on your demeanor it will probably be a simple manager OK, he signs the clipboard and off you go.

The Nugget and Binions are a little more difficult (they used to be the easiest). But The Plaza is really easy to bet those larger plays on, plus they are the one you want to bet first as they move the lines very quickly.

It would help if you had help doing it, a pain in the ass for sure, but you have to do what you have to do sometimes.

But I know guys that run, and they routinely get 25K down for guys and don't get moved on 5% of the time. And even when they do it is a nickle at most. Which adds up, but isn't going to kill the overall net.

40k?? maybe if they lay it in 80 places.I was there 3 months ago and had trouble betting a dime without a having to call the supervisor and changing the damn line..Hence my handle..The place is dead.I went to the stardust and had to have supervisor approval for a bet under 1k and they move the line a full point???Then i go to the "new" frontier and the limit on nba is 300! then i try to bet futures on baseball at the i.p and they wont take more then 500. give me a break

Exactly vid,

This guy has lost touch. He must be thinking of the NFL.

I asked specifically about baseball and his answer is way off.

Probably a kid who has never been in a sportsbook in Vegas. If he just did not bother to understand the question, then I mean no disrespect.

But the answer is dead wrong, or does not relate at all to the question!

If this clown starts posting here get used to it.

He is a "know it all" who composes very long meaningless rhetoric type posts.

I am sure you are right Kiss1.

For this thread he is not just "a "know it all" who composes very long meaningless rhetoric type posts."
His response was dead wrong and dog stupid!

I was just there last weekend. Went to make a 1000 par in baseball at the Hilton. 2 favorites no steam plays. I stood there a good 5 minutes, supervisor back and forth with clipboard and so on then they gave me the bet.Loser of course, wish they denied it, The next night I made a nickle par (winner) which they took no approval needed, then 2 1000 straight bets later on, both winners which they also just took no approval.Back in March I made a 2200 straight bet in college hoops at MGM, they took the bet, no approval needed. The bet hit but when I went to cash, I had to wait a pretty long time if I remember correct, somebody had to come down a give a key for the payoff. The best story I remember was at the Stardust, I went to make a 500 straight bet on a NBA total, I thought the guy was going to faint, looked at me like I had 2 heads. They finally gave me a 300 bet, then moved the line. That game pushed if I remember right. I'll tell you right now, no strangers just walk in off the street and make 40k bets.

Most of these places have a dime max but some will let you bet 3 dimes.

I was in The Freemont(stardust) two weeks ago and asked what the max is I can bet on a NBA side. "What team do you want" the supervisor asked and I said Pistons. She called down to the dust and came back with 2 dimes. This coming from one of the bigger books in town on an NBA playoff side. FUNNY STUFF!!

I was at the Hilton two years ago and they wouldn't take a $500 teaser on the NBA playoffs...

Yup you guys are all right, I am not down there every morning watching guys bet 6-7 grand a day, 1500 to 4500 a game . Sorry you know what I see more than I do. I have only been living here for 3 years.

The thing is you don't ask, you just tell them what number and how much.

I have seen the Boyd's limit guys before, also seen them not accept certain parlay tickets at all, that can't be denied. But I know guys that bet 1500 to 2000 baseball games there with no problems.

But I have never heard of a guy almost fainting because someone wanted to make a 500 bet. There are a lot of degenrates in there, but some pretty good money flows into that place at certain times. I don't go down there anymore since I get the same thing at two places right downtown, but I know the clientele that hangs out down there.

BTW Kiss you living in Vegas now? How come I never see you around? I am sure you are lurking at a few card tables.

Your right, I made it all up. What really happened when I went to make the 500 bet on the total was, they all laughed at me, called me a sissy and said thats the best you can do. Then they threw me out and told me to come back when I was ready to make a real bet and not to waste their time with pocket change.

These places are funny. Some days they will suprise you.Limits are not set in stone.Agree with krackman figure between 1-3 dimes max.The horseshoe was mentioned but they don't even deal a dime line.Try Nugget,Coast,Palms.I think stations doubles limits on tv games. Also some of these places have dime lines that break relatively early.
