I’ve been wrong plenty of times in the past and will be wrong plenty more in the future. But I’ll pat myself on the back since this series played out exactly as I thought it would. Vegas just didn’t know how to respond when facing adversity while the Caps have faced it for several playoff years in a row. I’m no Caps fan by any stretch, but am happy to see OV8 finally shed the “can’t win the big one” label. Good for him.
I’ll be extremely curious to see how the Knights follow this up next season. Will they make another playoff run, or will they have a crash and burn type of year because they won’t be able to sneak up on anyone anymore?
