I was just out in Las Vegas for a week. I stayed at a couple hotel/casinos, one on the strip, the other off the strip. In both places, as well as other casinos I visited, the smokey air hits you like a wave in the face when you walk through the doors. Being from Florida, a smoke-free state, I definately wasn't used to this. My nose was running almost immediately, and from smoke and arid climate, I had to sleep with the shower running all night long to act as a humidifier. I couldn't even walk into a normal restaurant without having to deal with smoke. I went into an Outback Steakhouse and it was the same thing...nasty, smokey, stale air. They have words to describe this. "Gross" is one of them.
