I am at Samstown in Vegas. I tried to bet a teaser and the clerk said "dont take 2 team teasers anymore. Nobody does them with totals anymore" the clerk said. So, disapointed, I said ok let me buy 1/2 a point and take Ne -6.5. And again the clerk said "I sorry, we don't sell points anymore".

Then, to top it off, I pick up a parlay card for the "free tee-shirt". It's bad enough ties lose on the card but on top of that, they had 4 sided props that count as one winner. example the first score will be

a. rushing touchdown
b. passing touchdown
c. field goal
d. other

getting this right only counts as one winner on a four team parlay.

I remember when you used to be able to bet in vegas. Now they just want your money.

picking 4 of these 4 sided props would pay you 11 for 1 on the parlay card. the odds of getting 4 correct is 256 to 1. Nice house keep.

That parlay's odds coupled with the Feds chasing Offshores, is due to Vegas' ability to steal legally under current regulations, & also due to lost American's income & no revenue from taxation(not Patriot Act BS)..but the Feds are all too willing to let square Americans play games of chance at moral-less odds, as long as they get a piece.

Nobody should bet a dollar at these joints, so the windows hopefully close one day, and the poor schmuk punching the ticket can get on with their search for a new minimum wage job.

Banking 11 to 10 per play or per day is criminal enough..what flys today is sheer greed & a lack of shame.

It pays to have strong PAC money on the Hill!

To top all this off, the superbowl party did happen, but without big screen tv's thanks to the nfl threats about lawsuits. So now you cant bet the game, cant watch the game and had lousy food to eat. I actually left the party, ordered a pizza and am watching the game in the room and betting it on the net. So much for a Vegas superbowl. I could have done this at home. Of course I wouldn't have hit the video poker for $2000 grand at home, so I guess all is not lost.
