How much do you want to spend. You can stay at Hooters (dump) for $29 a night or you can spend a couple hundred and stay at Encore. Really, you can find very good deals almost anywhere.

I am sure someone here can recommend a good website. It just depends on what you want to spend. Hotel cost are low right now, all things considered.

well I've done some kayk.com searches and it seems prices are a little steeper at that time. So I'm wondering if any knows of promo codes or deals outside of the travel websites.

thanks

What's the price range you're looking for and what sort of things are important to you in where you stay (for example: which part of town, sportsbook on site, etc.)?

We have stayed at the Imperial Palace, Luxor, NYNY, and the Tropicana in the past. I personally like the midstrip location, so I can get around with ease.

I personally dont mind staying at the I.P., it gets a bad rep but I love the location. It has lower limit tables, close proximity to the Bellagio and Mirage for sportbook needs, and O'Sheas next door is always a party scene.

However, the I.P. is on the verge of being too scummy for us. Some guys in the group have 'issues' staying there, their egos are hurt

I guess what we are looking for is is younger crowd (late 20's early 30's), relatively affordable and decent location. I was thinking of trying T.I. or MGM

you can get some pretty nice offers through harrah's if you and your friend gamble there. I have a suite there starting on new years and have it for 5 days and my bill is under $200 total. Good location on the strip. 4/5 nights are comped, id check with hotels or companys you have gambled with before

I've got no good discounts right now for that time. Soriano's right, the porn convention and BCS drive rates up. The best I've got are a couple of small deals from Hotels.com, one for just general discount rates, the other for $20 off a 3-night stay. You might start with that last one and check out the cost of places like Ballys, Harrahs or Treasure Island. Those are all in a little better shape than Imperial Palace.

Here are the links I have:

why cant you go to vegas ??? just dont bet one weekend and save that money and use it for a plane trip ... not to pricey from washington

Yeah im going to AC this New Years and if everything goes well im taking a trip out to Vegas for sure! Even though im 19 I know I can get in there with no worries. I figure it will cost me around 1k for round trip from DC to Vegas. Then another 1k for chips and another 1k for food, hotel and extra expenses. And ofcourse a good 1-2k for the sportsbook. I might go for my birthday in June.@):)
