SEC stuff |
Georgia has performed remarkably well when coming off a double-digit win |
and facing a conference foe that is coming off an |
upset win producing a 20-1 SU record winning |
by an average margin of 19.5 points per game |
and earning a highly profitable 19-2 ATS record for 91% winning bet since 1980. |
In fact, they are 18-0 SU and ATS since 1984 in this role. |
Trends that amass this kind of meteoric records tend to fail miserably |
and revert back to the mean over the next |
few seasons and many times, the following season. |

That is so cool bro ...love this stuff....now if we can go back to the 1st 3 weeks of the season to figure out an ats record for teams that have a havoc advantage ??? .....regardless...very cool...thx for the share.love the havoc rates that action puts out each week. if you're like Kansas and getting a ton of defensive pass breakups and tackles for loss you are highly rated for defensive havoc (thus ranked low). If you're like South Carolina and can't block anyone on offense leading to a lot of sacks and TFL, you have a poor offensive havoc and rank into the triple figures. Then again they are also dead last in creating havoc on defense...
week 4 havocs are up at https://www.actionnetwork.com/ncaaf/college-football-havoc-rankings-week-4-2023
h2h this week are below. for example Nevada has the worst offensive havoc rating in the nation (133rd) and they will be playing a Texas St defense with the 13th best defensive havoc rating. huge advantage Texas St defense....
WVU is an interesting one with large advantages on both sides of the ball but sitting as a home dog to Texas Tech. And the Hoopies did play two Power 5 bowl teams from last season so didn't build these ratings up against total cupcakes.
