You may think i'm biased but there is no way that the flames can lose both home games. I was at the game yesterday and I'll be there tomorrow. The energy in the dome is really something. If the flames can get their penalty killing together, they'll take this game. Vancouvers confidence could be hurt with the loss of Cloutier as well.
The special teams is killing the Flames. Vancouver is unstoppable so far on the PP. I would like to see the Flames hit someone next time they are killing a penalty. Stop setting up and just get in the corners and get dirty. Knock the Canucks out of their nice and tidy four corner offense.
I agree that Cloutier's injury can not help their cause. But you can't worry about the other guy when you're down 2-1 on home ice and heading back to Vancouver for game 5. Time to step up for Kiprusoff.

I think Van looks good. Inferior and inexperienced teams facing their first "must win" game are lousy bets, crazy crowd or not. I don't think losing Cloutier means much, Hedberg could beat him out of a job if he wasn't the incumbent. He is fresh and ready to go and proved it with a solid performance last game out.
I agree Bill. I was more confident, (in Calgary), with Cloutier being in net than Hedberg. This is Hedberg's shot and he'll make the most of it.
I still think that Kiprusoff will answer the call. He is big game tested, (from Europe), and rose to the occasion then. He'll do it again here. BUT....He needs some help on the PP.
