Haven't posted much lately but I just saw this and played it. It goes at 35 minutes past this hour, which is about 10 minutes from now. My pitchers ERA is in the 3's, their pitchers ERA is over 7. My play has won three in a row, the other team has lost 4 of their last 5. Both teams have similar won/loss records for the year. MY PLAY IS A BIG DOG, GETTING PLUS 172.

TAKE THE GREAT VALUE AND PLAY SEATTLE.

Sorry I saw this so close to game time.

Man I played the angels thinking they wouldn't get swept. Santana is garbage! Wish I was on seattle for that value.

I guess this is why I haven't been posting my plays lately. I can't believe it. Seattle puts in their closer with a two run lead, bottom 9th and they leave him in, even when it was obivious he could not throw strikes. FOUR WALKS, TWO SINGLES AND WE LOSE.

Their closer has a 1.07 ERA, well I should say HAD a 1.07 ERA. When will managers learn that just because their closer is lights out, dosen't mean he won't have a bad game once in awhile and they need to take him out. I guess this is one time I hope you saw my post too late to play it. Sorry if you did play it.

Couldn't have said it better myself. One of my biggest pet peeves for sure. Closers can have bad days just like everybody else. The mindset that you "live and die" with your closer is foolish. If your closer comes in and has nothing, the odds are you will have better success yanking him for a different reliever who could very well come in and be lights out.

Having said all that, I've been waiting for Aardsma to implode. If you look at his past stats, he's a below average pitcher. The only reason he is closing is because Morrow went in the tank after getting injured. Aardma's been pitching way over his head all year.

How about the fact that Aardsma has now pitched in 4 straight games. He had nothing left in the tank and Wakamatsu is stupid for sending him out there again.

Peter. Your wait for him to implode is now over. Four walks today in less than an inning vs. 18 walks in his last 26 innings. His 2.13 ERA so far this year is very misleading when his ERA the past four years ranged from 4.08 up to 6.75.

TuArmedMan. You are so right. Bad enough Wakamatsu sends him out there again; worse he leaves him out there when everyone could see what we saw, Aardsma had nothing left.

Here are the exact numbers on Aardsma. I really thought I had found a gift with Seattle.
